So your company supports Chrome for all it’s modern JS supporting goodness…
What’s that? You’re not allowed to synchronise your web apps and bookmarks? It’s been disabled by an administrator??
Why should they decide whether your browser at work synchronises with your other devices?
Fortunately for you, there’s a simple fix: Simply copy the following code into a text file (using notepad) and save it as a .reg file:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome] "SyncDisabled"=dword:00000000
Once you’ve done that, make sure your browser isn’t open and then double click the .reg file you created. You will see a dialogue box asking if you want to add this to your registry, click yes and you’re done!
Open up Chrome and use it as you normally would on any of your other devices. You’re welcome 🙂
